DADE PARK TURF NOTES 1 -s Waldo Freeman, who has several horses here for Mrs. R. M. Hopts Black Gold Stable, succeeds J. R. Cook as trainer of the Mrs. M. Eslick horses. Cook severed connections with the Eslick Stable Sunday and today turned over the horses Hillsborough, Cold Check, Judge Lueders and Sandwrack to. Freeman. All of the horses were procured by Mrs. Eslick through the claiming route. Mose Goldblatt, who has six horses in charge of H. J. Goldblatt, was a visitor here Sunday and departed this morning for Lincoln Fields, to where the main division of C. V. Whitney-Goldblatt Stable was shipped from Latonia. The horses H. J. Goldblatt has here will be sent from this track to Lincoln Fields at the conclusion of this meeting and jockey Gilbert Elston will depart for Lincoln Fields in time for the opening there Saturday, September 3. Johnny Daniels has postponed indefinitely the transfer of the Southland Stable horses to Churchill Downs on account of the illness of several horses. When the horses are able to stand shipping he will proceed to the Louisville track, where he will take up twelve yearlings that are now at Charles Blacks Silver Lake Farm. Kirby Ramsey reported this morning that H. H. Pierces Birthday Gift, which ran a nail in his foot, was greatly inr roved.
