1 NEW STYLE DAILY DOUBLE i AT WOODBINE PARK i TORONTO, Ont, Aug. 29 Secretary treasurer Palmer Wright, of the Ontario Jockey Club, has announced that the "double choice," a distinctive form of daily double wagering, will be employed at the Woodbine Park autumn meeting. Benefiting by" the experience of earlier users of the dally double, the management has devised a new form of this feature, which seems to meet every requirement. The first race in the "double choice" will be the second race allowing prospective players plenty of time to reach the course and the sale will open at 1:30 p. m. The second race in the "double choice" will be the fifth and, holders of winning tickets on the first part of the double will exchange their tickets for one on their choice in the fifth at any time up to the usual closing time for the fifth race. Thus the advantage of studying last minute track conditions and other factors that might influence a choice will be enjoyed by the players. The price of the "double choice" ticket has been set at the popular figure of ; The daily steeplechase, will be moved from its customary second place on the program to the third position by reason of the Introduction of this new wagering feature.
