, I SARATOGA TURF NOTES I $ s The Belair Studs Faireno was returned to Aqueduct from Hawthorne. M. L. Schwartz Gusto was shipped to Belmont Park. "Buddy" Brady, formerly a mutuel clerk on the Maryland and Canadian circuits, is seriously ill, following an automobile accident near Glens Falls, N. Y. He is at the Glens Falls Hospital. Jay C. and "Sonny" Fator, sons of the well known jockey, arrived here from summer camp. They have a collection of medals and trophies which they won at swimming and running. H. T. Archibald arrived from Chicago and will stay several days. Frank J. Kearns returned from Montreal, where he inspected the stable that J. P. White has there. Tom Thorp, who served as an official of the Mount Royal meeting, returned from that point. W. T. Anderson will ship twelve horses to Syracuse from here. Maj. L. A. Beard left for Red Bank, N. J., and later will go to Lexington, Ky. There were claims in the fifth race Monday at Saratoga when G. H. Brady took Contribute from Damon Runyon for ,000 and Fred Merill claimed Lullaby II. from the Howe Stable for a like amount.
