REHOBOTH began fast and, rated along under restraint until the Final three-eighths, bore out entering the stretch and outlasted CATHOP despite Morar.s repeated holding to his equipment and rider. CATHOP, moved up when called upon in the closing half mile, was forced wide by the winner in the stretch and, although failing to get up, held on gamely, but was disqualified.
