1 LATONIA TURF NOTES j, Eight of the J. W. Parrish yearlings are in training at Lexington. J. G. Goode will take three of the youngsters along with about six older horses to New Orleans, while his father, John M. Goode, will winter the others. Octave Viau and Albert Luzader will be among the first to get away for New Orleans. Their horses will share a car scheduled to leave the Latonia siding the day following the close of the season. John McAtee left for Lexington, where he will inspect the yearlings and breeding stock at Serenata Farm. Severalof the yearlings are to be tried in a few days. E. M. Osters Prince Reno and Glorious Swan got in from Fairmount Park and were turned over to E. W. Steiger to train. Steiger also took over H. McEwans Contractor and Fair Ment to train. E. C. Hensel took over to train for B. H. Scheid, My Joan, and Coin Collector. They arrived from Fairmount Park this morning. Mrs. C. Bruce Heads Altawood, which is standing at Waldeck Farm, which Mr. Head sold to judge Charles I. Dawson, will remain at that farm until the close of the 1933 breeding season. The brood mares Charles Bidwill has there also will remain at the farm until the end of the season.
