HER GRACE MAY BE RETIRED LAUREL, Md., Oct. 25. A suspicious looking leg may keep Ral Parrs Her Grace out of the 5,000 Washington Handicap, mile and one-quarter feature, Saturday, as well as end her racing career. Trainer Elmer Trueman will have a veterinarian look over the five-year-old chestnut daughter of Bright Knight and Marki-luna today in an effort to find out what ails her. It would be a severe loss to the turf world if Her Grace had to be retired, for she could always be counted upon for a smashing performance when she was at her best. One of her best efforts was the winning of the 6,550 Maryland Handicap here In 1930 when she raced a mile and one-quarter in 2:03 to beat Valenciennes and other smart three-year-olds of that season. :
