FA1RM0UNT PARK STATISTICS Jockey Club Distributes 2,700 Over Twenty-Five Days. .Two Hundred Races Decided During Long Meeting E. McCuan Leading Owner With A. Beck Biding Star. Fairmount Park proved a profitable field of operation for owners when the Fairmount Park Jockey Club, during its twenty-five-day meeting, from September 17 to October 15, distributed 2,700, a daily average of ,308. Two hundred races were decided during the long meeting. E. McCuans horses were in good form and, scoring in five races, earned ,755 for the western owner and first place on the winning owners list. J. Bronnenbergs colorbearers won more races than McCuans, but not as much money. They were first seven times, but the total amount of prizes was only ,725. Jones and Keating also saw their colors first seven times, but they won even less in money than Bronnenberg, or ,460. Stella F. was very consistent and, winning four races and ,225, headed the wininng list among the horses. Sobieha won twice and earned ,160 for second place. A. Beck was something of a sensation in the saddle. Out of 104 races he won twenty-seven of them for a percentage of .26. G. Fowler was second with fifteen winners. J. Bronnenberg and T. E. Keating tied for training honors, saddling seven winners each. A group of three other trainers were right behind with six winners.
