Earl Sande will ship the H. M. Howard horses to Maryland after this meeting. Jules Wesseler saddled Sweet Bud for P. Finamore, due to the latters absence. Will Knapp was among the visitors of the day. He has not formulated any plans for the winter season. Rodney Burdine, chairman of the Florida Racing Commission, was a .visitor during the afternoon. W. T. Anderson will ship from here to Columbia, S. C, next week. George Odom stated that he had retired the Arden Farms two-year-old, Quel Jeu, for the year. C. J. FitzGerald of the Agua Caliente Jockey Club was among the visitors of the day. -.
