LATONIA TURF NOTES $ 9 C. W. Hay stopped off here Saturday on his way to Chicago. He reported the sale of two yearlings sto Ike Weil of Chicago. They are a brown filly by Sir Peter and Nancy McKay, and a bay filly by Paicines and Bit of Glory. The latter is a full sister to Scotlands Glory. W. Covington returned from Hot Springs and will remain for the meeting. At Louisville he will winter four yearlings that Mrs. George B. Cox will race under her Parkview Stable colors next year, and also his own Side Step. The Cox yearlings are at the Young Brothers- Hinata Farm. Jockey Gilbert Elston continues to make steady progress in his fight to recover from injuries sustained in a fall here a week ago and is out of danger. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sabath, who witnessed Saturdays racing here, and Sunday inspected their younger horses and horses running out at Lexington, returned to their home in Chicago last night. While here Mr. Sabath definitely decided to send a division of his stable that will include the older Hopulikit, Bianoz, Fling, Curly Head, Wayne, St. Agnes, Olive Sabath and a number of yearlings to New Orleans in charge of Jake Lowenstein. The horses will campaign through the entire Crescent City season.
