; ; : i EYE ORIENTAL PARK PRIZE Willie Crump May Ship Head Play to Havana for 0,000 Stake Race. LATONIA, Ky., Oct. 31. William Crump may change his program for the good two-year-old Head Play and instead of wintering the son of My Play in Kentucky, may ship him along with other of the horses owned by Mrs. Crump to Oriental Park. Crump is "eyeing" the 0,000 added Cuban Grand National Handicap and, knowing that thoroughbreds do well in the Cuban climate, may take a whirl at the Oriental Park prize with his star youngster. Crump was at Oriental Park two seasons back with several of his wifes horses and a few owned by H. P. Headley. Although he had to return to Kentucky before the running of. the Cuban Grand National that winter, he saw the 1931 Grand National victor, Boys Howdy, come up to that race and is satisfied that Cuba is an ideal place to prepare a coming three-year-old for the rich stakes given over to horses of that age and run East and West. Boys Howdy was a three-year-old when he scored in the Cuban National. Clyde Van Dusen and Jack Howard are leading nominators to the Cuban Stakes among the horsemen here. Both the Van Dusen and Howard Stables ship from here to Florida, thence to Oriental Park, with stakes candidates. Van Dusen is going South with about twenty-five of the Dixi-i ana and his own horses, and Howard will have one of the largest stables at Hialeah Park.
