RACING FIGURES OF ENGLAND Aga Khan the Leading Breeder and Owner for Current Year. Frank Butters Carries Off Training Honors Gordon Richards Holds Monopoly on Riding Laurels. LONDON, England. The Aga Khan has enjoyed his most successful season on the English turf. He is the leading breeder and owner according to the latest statistics compiled to October 10. As an owner, twelve-of the Aga Khans horses have won twenty races and approximately 77,873 in American money. Horses bred by him have won approximately 83,935. Frank Butters has been the most successful among the English trainers, saddling forty-five winners of about 18,375. Gordon Richards continues to be the outstanding rider, with a record of 150 winners out of 751 mounts. His nearest rival is H. Wragg, with ninety-eight winners out of 560 mounts.
