MARKS YEARLINGS WORK OUT Owners Witness Trials of Ybungr sters Seven Out of Seventeen Have Bucked Shins. LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct. 31. Leo J. Marks, owner of the Le Mar Stock Farm, accompanied by Harry S. Hart, managing director of Swingalong Stud and also trainer of the Le Mar Stock Farm Stable, arrived from Baltimore Sunday morning and spent the remainder of the day inspecting the yearlings in training at the Kentucky Association track, and the stallions, mares and weanlings at Le Mar Stock Farm. Fred Morris, who is in charge of the yearlings, worked ten of the seventeen; the others have bucked shins. They were timed as follows: Chestnut filly, by General Lee Kindred, eighth, :11; quarter, :23. Bay colt, by Broomstick Welfare, :11; :23. Bay colt, by Upset Red Riding Hood, :11, :23. Bay colt, by San Utar Many Thorns, :11, :24. Chestnut filly, by Upset Damara, :11, :24. Chestnut colt, by San Utar Moongazer, :11; 25. Chestnut colt, by Wildair Matches, :11, :24. Chestnut filly, by Macaw Ridicule, :11, :25. Chestnut filly, by. Sari Utar My Premier, :12, :25. Chestnut filly, by General Lee Fay Shaw, :12, :25. The fillies were only asked to run the first eighth and were galloped out the second eighth. The colts were each easing up at the end of the quarter. These yearlings were taken up and put into training August 24.
