w 1 AURORA TURF NOTES ] ♦ — ♦ The horses of T. C. Worden of Chicago, and in charge of B. A. Jones, arrived this morning from Tanforan and all but Mad Pursuit and Uncle Henry unloaded in fine fettle from the long trip from the coast Most prominent of the eleven head that Jones brought is the two-year-old filly Risky Miss, which has won all of her races including the Agua Caliente Futurity. Singing River. Coequal, Hourless Wonder, Spinning Way, Secluded, Culloden, Cofaro, Drole Polly and Quetor were the others of the Worden string. L. K. Rogers is an arrival from Lexington, with six horses. Vesee, Flying Silk, Patsyette, Nitten Nancy, Blithe, and Bisque Doll. Blue Law and Halliard are the only two that J. Sands has at present and they were vanned to Exposition Park Sunday. Blue Law. one of the most consistent of the plater division last winter, is in fine fettle according to advices from Sands. Linmast, Amour and Renounce form the trio that will carry the colors of Mrs. J. Chesney the St. Louis, Mo., patron. "Mickey" Fernandez, who was booking the engagements of Melvin Calvert at New Orleans last winter is an arrival from his home in New Orleans and will look after the mounts of a A. "Tex" Anderson. J. J. Conway got in from Maryland with Lion-Hearted and Jackknife. J. V. Pons registered Lady Sweet, the only horse he has at this time. Pons expects to obtain several others from Kentucky in the near future. Celtic Prince, Lucky Carter and Burnt j Time are the three that R. B. Allen will [ race at Aurora. L. P. Orlando, with Bourbon Maid, F. T. Miller, with Gay Prince and E. Stillman t with Hazel Hopps and Lovers Chat were ; among the smaller shipments Monday. Jockeys L. Comingore, L. Canfield, J. Ketry, D. McAllister, W. Magner, P. Dango and R. E. Clements are belated arrivals and I filed their applications for riding licenses. Jack Brannon, a recent arrival from Kentucky, has taken over the book of the veteran | L. Geving, who will do the riding for : B. B. Williams. C. D. Stevens, who officiated as starter at the Atlanta, Ga., meeting, drove in from that southern city and will remain until time ; to depart for Montana where he will do the starting at several meetings held in that 1 state. F. Grand, who is racing one of the largest t stables quartered at Exposition Park, checked in from New Orleans. There were several shipments unloaded recently, the most prominent of which was s the horses of Mrs. M. Rieser, in charge of f Milton Rieser. The eight headed by Peacock Blue, shipped without mishap. Four horses of the Keeneland Stud, in i charge of J. P. Ebelhardt came in the same e consignment, they were Don Romiro, Chagrin, - Phalarope and Lonesome *Pine. Ebelhardt - will race Gift of Roses in his own i interest. J. Salinski has added Happy Johnny to 0 the trio he brought here from Kentucky. E. E. "Doc" Watson moved his six horses s consisting of Baritone, Principio, Mr. Ves-tris. " - High Complexion, Malaita and Royal 1 Rock to Exposition Park, from Hawthorne. !. J. Bronnenberg was another owner to van i to the Aurora track. He brought over six x head of horses. Unfounded rumors were spread relative to 0 the amount of damage done by the teriffic wind storm of Sunday at Exposition Park. c. There was very little damage, a few boards s from three of the stables were loosened and d no personal injuries were suffered.
