I CHURCHIU DOWNS NOTES | ♦ • Wayne Lewis sent W. F. Axtons Cousin Ethel and Busy Office to Axtons Wildwood Farm and is bringing in Montmary, Bay Servant, Social Service, Two Son, Floor-man, Stout Boy, Equipment, Struggles, Beech Tree, Jigapoo, Anita Ormont and Broomshot. The latter two are the only older ones in the lot. A. D. Steele, who is shipping two from Lexington to Sportsmans Park, was a visitor during the morning. H. P. Headleys Big Beau was lame following the Clark Handicap and may not resume racing here. D. D. Canfield, Tennessee patron, is a visitor. He has several horses here in care of William Crump and will remain for an indefinite period. Apprentice S. Vail, who rode in fine form on the Coast, accompanied the Axton stable here. Trainer J. H. Stotler changed plans for Osculator, winner of the Clark Handicap and the four-year-old will remain here until after the Derby, returning east with the W. R. Coe Derby horses. Albert Sabath, who was present at the opening, departed for Chicago, but will return Friday and remain until after the Derby. H. L Fischer, whose rough r: ling astride Chuck B., somewhat marred the running of the second race Monday won by that colt, escaped with a five-day suspension.
