LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS Monte Parke and Lee Humphries are engaged in a neck and neck race for leadership of the American jockeys. At present Humphries holds a lead of seven winning mounts over Parke, but another week such as the last one will see Parke closer to Humphries. Parke scored with eleven of his mounts at Aurora last week, while Humphries won with seven of his mounts. Humphries has a total of ninety-four winning mounts, and Parke has eighty-seven. F. Springer was only one winner behind Parke for last weeks honors, scoring on ten of his mounts.
