RACING BILL UP TO VOTERS SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., May 15.— California voters who enjoy the racing of thoroughbred horses and who at the same time desire that their state regulate and profit from the sport, will have another chance to approve of racing at the polls when the special election takes place June 27. The bill, which Governor Rolph vetoed two weeks ago, has been embodied in the propositions listed to be voted upon at the special election next month, along with other revenue-raising measures. Following the rejection of the pari-mutuel racing bill by Governor Rolph, friends of the sport in the legislature worked might and main to have it included among the prohibition repeal, special tax and other measures slated to be voted upon, and succeeded at the eleventh hour in the senate, after it was approved by the assembly a few days after the governors veto.
