BLUE DAMSEL, slow to start, gave improved speed leaving the back stretch, but was unable to reach the leader. RISNEUR closed gamely. FAIR SUN drew into a good lead, but tired in the drive. ASTRAKHAN improved his position gradually and closed gamely. TRENTONIAN was unable to reach the leaders. DR. POTTER raced evenly. MONKS FOX quit badly after showing early speed. MING SUN improved his position gradually and closed with good courage. NOSEGAY came with good courage through the stretch. WESTYS LAD faltered after racing well up for the first three-quarters. DANDY DAN went well and was not punished when he began tiring. . .
