WISE DREAM raced into a long early lead, bolted on the stretch turn, but recovered quickly, responded gamely to punishment and lasted to outstay LONG BIT. The latter began slow, gained fast after a quarter and probably would have won in another stride. GOOD POLITIAN saved ground throughout. CAW CAW had no mishaps. BIG GOLD, fractious at the post, showed early speed, but raced green. GEORGE quit. LANDOVER failed to be a factor. LADY JAY had no excuse. LOW GEAR, far out of it in the early stages, closed strongly after making up ground. JUSTA SHEIK quit. LINCOLN PLAUT was outrun. LANSQUENET was eased up after going a half mile.
