MICHIGAN STANDS ON RULE LEXINGTON, Ky., April 11. President Clarence E. Lehr, of the Detroit Racing Association, today said, relative to the announcement of Walter H. Donovan, Miami, president of the National Association of State Racing Commissioners: "Michigan racing commissioner Frost voted "No" on the proposal to repeal the ,000 clause in the claiming rule adopted at Miami. The book for the Detroit spring meeting has been -issued in compliance with the rule, and we Bave decided not to change the book. We think the rule is a good one and we think it should have a fairer trial than it has had. Accordingly we have decided to stand pat."
