REGAN IS IN GOOD STANDING No Ruling Against Horsemen at Oak-lawn Park Weather Halts Lexington Training. LEXINGTON, Ky., April 11. Thomas R. Underwood, secretary of the National Association of State Racing Commissioners and the Kentucky State Racing Commission, at the request of Hanley C. Regan, master of OaTtridge Park, Lexington, made inquiry of E. L. Farris, secretary of the Arkansas State Racing Commission, Little Rock, concerning the ruling of suspension made by the stewards at Oaklawn Park, March 14, against Regan. Secretary Farris today informed secretary Underwood that at the end of the Oaklawn Park meeting the stewards made a recommendation that the commission not file any suspensions, arid added: "So as a result of this, we will start with a clean slate at our next meeting for all jockeys, owners and trainers," which is to say there is no ruling standing against H. C. Regan. H. M. Donaldson arrived at the Le Mar Stock Farm today from Arlington, Texas, having been employed by trainer Harry S. Hart of the Leo J. Marks horses, to take charge of the string at the farm and get them ready for spring racing. They have wintered in charge of Barry McSherry, the stable .foreman. The lack of tracks for training is general throughout this section. The rainfall has been excessive by nearly three inches since March 1, and all trainers are complaining except Alex Gordon, who laid out a big straw track several weeks ago at Coldstream Stud, where there is an excellent mile track, which will be among the first in use when the weather warms up.
