Won driving; second and third the same. SKY PIRATE, hustled to the front in the opening eighth, drew away into a good lead and, rated along under slight restraint, held sway to the end. SIR ROLLIE, prominently placed all the way, came to the outsue in the stretch and closed willingly. SECURED, outpaced early, saved ground at the stretch turn and closed stoutly on the inside through the stretch. ABBOTSFORD. away well, dropped back, but closed in determined fashion. KRONA moved up threateninely on the outside approaching the stretch and faltered under urging in the Lst three-sixteenths. Won driving ; second and third the same CHEWAWA was not hurried during the early running, began moving up steadily after leaving the back stretch, came to the outside in the stretch and, responding gamely to brisk urging, was along in the last few strides. WEE TUNE, away well, was taken in hand for the first three-eighths, moved up gradually thereafter, wore down TREASURY KEY for the lead before reaching the stretch and, despite his rider putting up a strong finish, was not good enough. POCKET, restrained early, saved ground and closed gamely. TREASURY KEY moved into a long lead in the first eighth, but tired in the last quarter. STAR CHASE was never a factor. GIFTED LADY was prominently placed from the start, moved up leaving the back stretch, raced to the front when the loaders bore out and, kept under intermittent punishment in the stretch, was never seriously threatened. INFORMAL displayed good speed, bore out badly nearing the stretch, carrying out CANCEL and closed gamely in the last eighth. RADIATOR, restrained in nearest pursuit of the leaders, saved ground in the stretch and held on willingly. MORDEN, well placed, was unable to improve his position under punishment. PALATINE closed ground. CANCEL showed good speed, but was eliminated when carried wide. WINGED FLIGHT, outrun early, made up ground through the late stages. PRETTY PATRICIA, away slowly, moved u;» steadily on the inside after going the first quarter mile, went to the front with a rwh at the stretch turn and drew out fast in the last sixteenth. SANDY MACK displayed good speed, withstood determined opposition from RICHSTRIKE, disposed of him, but was unable to cope with the closing bid of the winner. DRAWN SWORD, outpa el early, moved up stoutly in the last five-sixtecnths. RICHSTRIKE displayed ex.od speed from the start, was much used in racing with the pacemaker and faltered in the stretch run. MAJOR GREENOCK was prominent throughout, though unable to reach the leaders under punishment. JOHN TIO was well placed for the first half mile, tiring thereafter. SEPTEMBER CHILD and DREAM KISS were forced to take up sharply nearing the turn out of tht back stretch when caught in a jam. Overweight — Pretty Patricia, 1£ pounds; September Child, 1; Edri, 1$. THOMASVILLE, away well, dropped back early, responded gamely to punishment and closed willingly. TERALICE, rated along in pursuit of the pace for three quarters, moved up threateningly approaching the stretch, but tired in the stretch. SPEEDMORE tired. COHORT MISS, outrun for the first half mile, came willingly in the last five sixteenths. EASIEST WAY. in near pursuit of the early pace, weakened in the closing three-sixteenths. BIG SHOW, restrained in pursuit of the pace, closed steadily, saved ground at the stretch turn and finished with good courage. OLD JUDGE had speed from the start, was forced to take back rounding the far turn, closed determinedly, but was unable to reach the first two. CHRYSMUTE made up some ground. HUT never could enter into serious contention. FREE was never prominent. MACK SENNETT was outrun. WASWANAPPI had brief early speed.
