PEACE CHANCES GOOD WORK NEW YORK, N. Y., June 24— After todays second race at Aqueduct Pete Coyne brought out Joseph E. Wideners Peace Chance, Belmont Stakes winner of last year, and permitted him to gallop along for a handy mile and a furlong in 1:54. It was a move to indicate that the good son of Chance Shot is rapidly coming to racing condition. He covered the half in :19. the six furlongs in 1:15, mile in 1:40% and the distance in 1:54. All through the move the colt showed a desire to run, and he came out of the useful move excellently.
