j MONDAYS SPORT AT j J DAYTON CALLED OFF | DAYTON*, Ohio, June 24.— Mondays race program at the, Dayton Fair Grounds was called off and. the meeting temporarily suspended pending an investigation by the | Ohio State Racing Commission of the eighth • race here Saturday. The meeting was ordered suspended and the investigation requested by the Montgomery County Fair "Board, lessor of the track on grounds that - the racing commission was to hold a specially • called meeting here Monday afternoon " and decide whether the race in question " involved any fraud. If the commissions findings fail to uncover • any fraud the fair board will permit the meeting to be resumed Tuesday. In the race in question two horses, Corida, an odds-on favorite, and Imigert were left at the post. After the race enraged spectators rioted and demanded return of money wagered on the two horses. They accompanied this demand with a pop bottle shower directed at the judges stand. It was several I hours before police could restore order. No I serious injuries were reported.
