Apprentice Antonio Fernandez will resume riding Tuesday after a forced absence from the saddle, due to injuries sustained while at the post on Master Beau. Jockey L. Hale, also has fully recovered from injuries received while riding Myriad re- cently. Jockeys Tracy Vercher and Willie Kern will be eligible to accept mounts on Tuesday, having served suspensions for rough riding. Starter William Hamilton received word from his home, Hot Springs, Ark., that his daughter, Mary Louise, underwent an operation for appendicitis. Miss Hamilton is reported as doing nicely. Courtney Forsyth, veteran jockey agent, has taken over the book of jockey James McCoy. Forsyth is also looking after the engagements of apprentice A. Morgan. E. B. Smith has been appointed trainer of the horses Old Honesty and Catchall. The former races for L. Rogerson, while the lat- ter performs under the colors of L. Hall.
