BINOCULAR was never far from the pace and coming gamely through the stretch wore down AUKAI to win going away. AUKAI cut out most of the early pace and held on fairly well, but could not resist the winner. LAURIAN was badly outrun, but closed much ground to finish fast. ACCORDER was outrun early, but came fast when ready to wear down RUNNING HEEL in the stretch and won going away. RUNNING HEEL opened up a good lead when GOLD CLASP began to tire and went fairly well to the finish, but was unable to withstand the challenge of the winner. DUNBAR was well up throughout, but. was tiring at the finish. LAZI CANTER closed some ground under urging. GOLD CLASP stopped badly. NUGENT and MUM ELECTRESS also displayed early speed but tired. LOU MACHADO displayed good early speed and went gamely to the finish. JILLION was tfever far from the pace and showed a creditable effort. DON ROBERTO, showing speed from the start, followed the pace of Harrogate closely1 to the stretch, then went to the front to draw out to an easy win. HARROGATE went to the front at once to make the pace and showed a good effort, but although racing well to the finish could not resist the winner. LADY FLORISE improved her position as usual and ran a good race, but did not threaten the first two. MAID OF PERTH could not keep pace with HARROGATE. The others Avere outrun all the way.
