DETROIT DERBY CLOSES MAY 15 LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 28. Clarence E. Lehr, general manager of the Detroit Racing Association, arrived from Detroit today and will remain until after the running of the Derby. While here he plans on interesting owners in regard to the second renewal of the 5,000 added Detroit Derby, nominations for which close May 15. Manager Lehr announced that applications for stalls have far exceeded the available accommodations, and included among the applicants are owners of some of Americas leading stables.
