1 LEXINGTON TURF NOTES 3 Mrs. Payne Whitney and party are expected at Greentree Farm from New York, Thursday, to remain until after the Kentucky Derby. Samuel D. Riddle and party are due at Faraway Farm, from Maryland and Pennsylvania, Wednesday, to remain until after the Kentucky Derby. J. A. Estes, editor of the Blood-Horse for the American Thoroughbred Breeders Association, who has been ill of a stomach ailment for several weeks, entered St. Josephs Hospital Monday afternoon, from his residence, to receive a blood transfusion. Roland Keene, manager of Mrs. Eleanor Showalter Wells Minnehaha Farm, Georgetown, Tuesday reported the birth of a half-brother to Gold Step. It is a chestnut colt, by Misstep Golden Stairs, by Colonel Ven-nie. "This is one of the grandest looking colts I ever saw," said Mr. Keene.
