MORE ARRIVALS AT COLUMBUS Four Stables Reach Beulah Park From Arlington McGregor String in Shipment. COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 28. Four stables checked in at Beulah Park from Arlington Downs, Texas. Included in the shipment was the Z. E. McGregor string, headed by the stake horse, Indian Salute. Others in the McGregor list are Always Blue, John Bane, Mymiss, Hildur Prince and Gay Bill. Tom B. Miller brought along five, including the fast filly, Dozana, Northgalis, Rosi-reigh, Winning Woman and Reverberate. In the car with these were No Saint and Golden Saint, property of W. Locke, and Dewey Moon and Twill, belonging to C. E. Smith. Racing secretary Emmett A. Hileman began the task of registering the horses today. He said that it was evident from cursory examination that Beulah Park would have its best racing since wagering became legal in the state. Starter William A. Daly has been schooling horses daily from the Waite gate. He .advises that he never has seen so many two-year-olds as are at the current meeting. Many of the youngsters are owned in Ohio and his travels of the past several weeks have taken him to many farms around Columbus. He found the thoroughbred industry booming in all directions, with many newcomers in the breeding game. Races are in the condition books for two-year-olds owned in Franklin and adjoining counties, as well as races for aged horses that are Ohio-owned. With the horses from Texas came apprentice Pat Camp, who is attached to the McGregor stable and who can make ninety-six pounds.
