i v I 100-PIECE BAND FOR DERBY DAY I J i i.----------------------------4 LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 28. Col. Matt Winn, executive director of Churchill Downs, announced today that the Fort Knox Military Band of 100 pieces will provide music in the center field on Derby day and that a bugle corps will herald the Derby field as it parades to the post. An orchestra will play throughout the afternoon in the clubhouse. Gov. Albert B. Chandler will make the presentation of the gold trophy to the winning owner of the Derby, Colonel Winn announced. Winn, himself, has been selected to present the trophy to the outstanding Kentucky colonel at the Colonels Dinner here Friday night. Advance sale of Churchill Downs admission tickets for Saturday will go on sale at the Kentucky, Brown and Seelbach hotels here Thursday, it was announced today. Meanwhile, they are on sale at the Churchill Downs offices. General admission will be .35 and to the clubhouse .65, including all taxes.
