I JAMAICA TURF NOTES s s Stake blares for the Latonia meeting were distributed .j Francis Dunne. Additional phones connecting Aqueduct and Belmont Park with the secretarys office were installed Monday morning to facilitate the acceptance of entries. Jockeys V. Collins and B. Wimmer were arrivals and joined the local colony. Stake books for the forthcoming Aqueduct meeting were distributed. Saratoga stake steeplechase blanks were distributed. The stakes close May 5. Stake books for the Belmont Park meeting were distributed Monday afternoon. Jockey J. Stout left for Louisville, Tuesday to ride the Belair Studs Granville in the Derby. The Brookmeade Stables Psychic Bid was returned from Havre de Grace, where he ran in the Philadelphia Handicap. Jockey T. Malley will ride Merry Pete, J. Stout, Granville, and E. Litzenberger, Teufel, the starters that trainer Fitzsimmons will saddle in the Derby. W. B. Mitchell arrived from Baltimore, and J. H. Logan arrived from Texas and stabled at Jamaica. Charles Fox, veteran racing enthusiast, died Saturday in Kings County Hospital and will be buried in Woodlawn Cemetery Tuesday at 10 a. m. Condition books for the steeplechases at Belmont Park were distributed to horsemen
