Won easily; second and third driving. WARRIOR QUEEN forced the pace from the start, shook off DIZZY DAME in the final eighth, then drew away, winning with speed in reserve. DIZZY DAME was rushed into command after the start, showed good speed, raced trucly, but could not stand off the rush of the winner when placed under pressure. APOGEE raced truely alone the inner rail all the way and finished well under urging. STYLISTIC dropped back after the break, improved her position under pressure through the final eighth and finished well. CLAMOROUS was bothered sliehtly after the l.reak. CELTIC LEGEND raced greenly. HOOK IT had no mishaps. SPICY was outrun all the way and could not menace the leaders. Scratched — Royal Raiment, 112. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. MASKED KNIGHT jumped well and followed the early pace under steady restraint, moved up with determination when called upon, responded to pressure in the final half mile and held LOUTS DOR safe. The latter slipped through on the inside after the first three-quarters to assume command, jumped well, saved ground and had no mishaps. BENEDICTINE dropped back rounding the first turn, made a bad landing at the ninth fence, almost unseated its rider, saved ground thereafter and finished with good courage. SANTI QUARANTI made a bad landing at the fifth fence, improved his position steadily thereafter, raced extremely wide at the stretch turn and then faltered suddenly at the end. JUNGLE DAWN was rushd into command after the break, showed speed under restraint, was shuffled back rounding the back stretch turn after taking the sixth fence and could not improve its position thereafter. Won easily; second and third driving. HALF TIME raced true from a fast start, showed high speed and drew away, winning with speed in reserve at the end. ROCKWOOD, under severe pressure through the final quarter mile, closed with good courage on the inside and wore down MERRY MAKER in the closing strides. The latter, in nearest pursuit •f the early pace, was placed under urging nearing the finish and held on well. TAP ON raced evenly throughout and had no mishaps in the running. COMPANY broke slowly and, placed under pressure in an effort to keep up, faltered in the final eighth. AGATHON rushed up fast from a slow beginning and then faltered. Scratched— 25272The Runner, 110. AT POST— 10 minutes. Start poor and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. SINGING WOOD broke well and clear of interference, responded to pressure in the final eighth and drew away. SATION and WHOPPER collided at the break, the former recovered slowly, improved his position steadily on the inside and was going strongly at the end. WHOPPER recovered quickly and raced into contention, assumed a brief lead alter going a half mile, but faltered from his early efforts in the final drive. CLANG raced forwardly from the start, made a determined bid when called upon, but was in close quarters between the leaders in the final sixteenth and was forced back. POSTAGE DUE showed early speed, raced truely on the outside and had no excuses. PSYCHIC BID was placed under pressure after going a quarter wile, but swerved sliehtly nearing the final quarter mile and then tired. TINTAGEL quit badly after going a half mile. TATTERDEMALION improved his position steadily on the outside, came around the leaders rounding the Stretch turn, was placed under severe pressure through the final eighth and outlasted BRUSH HOOK in the final drive. The latter was in close quarters shortly after the break, moved up after working clear, came between the leaders entering the stretch and finished well on the inside. SUNRAP broke fast, drew away |Bto a good lead, but could not withstand the first two at the finish. MERRY PETE saved ground all the way, made a determined bid in the stretch and then faltered. CORUNDUM was in close quarters shortly after the break and could not get clear. He was taken to the outside in the stretch and made up ground steadily. WAR EMBLEM faltered under pressure at the finish. SPANK saved ground at the turns. VELVET MASK showed early speed and then quit badly. COMBAHEE began slowly. EN MASSE, fractious at the post, was placed on the outside of the stalls, broke rapidly and, after moving up steadily in the stretch on the inside, faltered. SAY DO was rushed into command after the break, showed early speed, but faltered badly through the stretch when placed under pressure. PRINCE CHARLO could not menace the leaders. SILENCE III. was outrun throughout. Scratched— 25424 Phrixus, 109. Overweight — Say Do, 1 pound.
