MAKE THREE-CORNERED BET NEW YORK, N. Y., May 11.— One three-cornered bet of horse against horse was made on the Toboggan Handicap on which one of three starters would be leading at the end of the first half mile. It was for 00 a corner, and Tom Shaw took Sation, George Read took Clang, and "Dancer" Hyams chose Tintagel. Each of the principals had a man stationed at the end of the first half to make the decision.
