STARRY FLAG, away slowly, was rushed into the lead, drew clear rapidly, responded well in the stretch, was inclined to bear out in the last stages, but withstood EQUANIMITY. The latter, never far back and under hustling tactics, was wearing the winner down at the end. ADA W.. under strong urging throughout, tired after offering a bold bid nearing the final eighth. COUNTESS MARIO, forced to lose ground when improving her position, was .ent through the field for the drive and closed with a rush. TRYANHURRY raced evenly. DAYSEND tired after improving her position. MIBS quit. SISTER FAN was outrun. The latter, unable to improve her early position, was sent to the outside entering the stretch and was wearing down the winner at the end. JUDGE BARKLEY, a strong factor from the start, wore SCORE down after five-sixteenths, drew away Hearing the stretch, but failed to withstand the first two. YANKEE WATERS showed a good effort. MONON LAD, outrun early, responded fast in the stretch and finished strongly. GREY COUNT was unable to improve his early position and made up ground in the last eighth. WOOF sprinted into a long lead early, was knocked into the fence at the stretch turn and came back with a bad cut on the left stifle. REAPING REWARD was outrun.
