1 EPSOM DOWNS TURF NOTES f 4 1 Wesley Freeman, a member of starter Val Sulichs ground crew, suffered a cut over his left eye while handling Ima Count at the starting gate In the sixth race Thursday. After having the wound dressed at the tracks emergency hospital, he returned to his post for the last two races. T. M. Miller, trainer of Golden Crystal, reported that the racer was jumped on and cut during the running of the second race Thursday and will be inactive for some time as a result of the injury.
