A. G. TARN AT EPSOM DOWNS HOUSTON, Texas, Oct 5. A. G. Tarn, Canadian sportsman, arrived at Epsom Downs Saturday afternoon after putting the main division of his stable into quarters at Arlington Downs to be given a brief rest prior to the start of the season at that course on October 22. Through an error in reporting the purchase of several horses at Narragansett, Tarn stated that he was named as the buyer when he merely acted for the Corsi-cana Stable, which is a partnership between himself and W. C. Stroube of Corsicana, Texas. The purchase from B. J. Hills by the Corsicana Stable included Pundit, Festoon, Maderis, Poet Prince and the two-year-old Dicks Pal.
