I ARLINGTON DOWNS NOTES The many friends of Sidney S. Bender, widely known racing official, will be happy to learn that he is enjoying much improved health. Six weeks ago he was in a critical condition. Danny Clark is urgently requested to communicate with A. A. Baroni by telegraph at once. Baroni is at Arlington Downs, and the matter is of great importance to Clark. Reports of the favorable progress of Mrs George White, wife of the Dallas Morning News sports editor, who underwent an emergency operation Tuesday, were received with great pleasure by their many friends in the press box and Texas Jockey Club family here Thursday. Raymond Russell, head of the Alamo Downs Jockey Club, and Mrs. Russell are returning from their home in San Antonio for Saturdays racing. They were visitors the first three days of the meeting.
