QUEENS BEST, away fast but unable to keep up early, was forced to lose ground throughout, took command under strong urging and won drawing away. LEEORAN hustled to the front, gave way when challenged, came again in the stretch, but failed to withstand the winner. CACARINA, used up in reaching the lead, was inclined to bear in during the stretch run and tired fast near the end. RED PRINCE raced wide, but finished, strongly. COOL, breaking from outside of the stall gates, was lucky to find room when improving his position, finished strongly and worked out a mile and five-eighths in 2:59. PLUNDERAGE was blocked attempting to get through on the inside. AGENT bore over badly when tiring in the stretch. WHATA QUESTION was outrun. STURDY BOY showed nothing.
