LOCATION OF BING CROSBYS NEW DEL MAR RACE TRACK SAN DIEGO, Calif., April 19. The Del Mar Turf Club is situated at Del Mar, San Diego County, Calif., about 100 miles from Hollywood, nineteen miles from San Diego, on Highway 101 from Los Angeles to Del Mar, San Diego and Tijuana. Del Mar is thirty-four miles from Tijuana. Within a radius of twenty miles of Del Mare are the following resorts, in addition to San Diego: Coronado Beach, Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, La Joila, Del Mar, Carlsbad and Oceanside. The Pacific Ocean is only 800 feet from the Del Mar Turf Clubs track. The Santa Fe Railroad runs alongside Highway 101, which is less than 200 feet from the track. Yachts may anchor within a quarter mile of the shore, directly opposite Del Mars race track, and a landing field for airplanes is within 400 feet of the main gate. One may reach Del Mars race track by automobile, train, yacht and airplane. The Santa Fe will run special trains from Los Angeles to the track daily, also from Sari Diego and other points.
