GALSUN AMONG MISSING Calumet Farm Derby Eligible Scratched in Lexington Feature. Wright Star Reserved for Blue Grass Stakes Thursday H. P. Head-ley Scores Triple Victory. LEXINGTON, Ky., April 26. Deciding against running Galsun three times within a week, trainer Frank Kearn3 declared the Calumet Farm colt from the Sagamore Purse, feature of todays Keeneland program, and the son of Gallant Fox and Sunstroke will make his next start in the ,000 added Blue Gras3 Stakes on Thursday. Galsun opened up a quarter in :23 over the Calumet track this morning and will be sent over a longer distance tomorrow morning as his final preparation for the Blue Grass Stakes, in which he and Gosum will comprise the entry of Warren Wrights j. stable. " Billionaire and Brooklyn, Col. E. R. Bradleys Kentucky Derby prospects, also are being pointed for the Blue Grass. They were given trials over the private course at Idle Hour Farm yesterday morning, but no time was given out by trainer Thompson, who said their efforts were satisfactory. Other probable starters In Thursdays event, which features the closing program, are the Manhasset Stables White Tie and Maxwell Howards Fencing, the latter coming over from Churchill Downs for the engagement. Outside possibilities are Tom B. Youngs Paris Prince, Hal Price Head-leys Old Nassau and C. V. Whitneys Black Look. THIRD HEADLEY TRIUMPH. The blue and white silks of Hal Price Headley were borne to a triple on this afternoons program at the local course, which wa3 offered under disagreeable weather conditions. Old Nassau, an eligible for the Kentucky Derby, completed the set of triumphs by the handy manner in which he turned back five other three-year-olds in the Sagamore Purse, over the mile and one-sixteenth distance. Duffys Grey Gold, which had been installed an odds-on favorite on his victory over Billionaire and Brooklyn in his previous start at the meeting. A good track prevailed for the running of the feature after the course had been fast for the first three races. A drizzle, which brought about a decided drop in the temperature, started after the second race. Old Nassaus time for the feature was 1:47, and he carried 104 pounds, giving jockey Robert Dotter a double, as he won with Headleys Sand Bag in the previous event. Hal Price Headley, president of the Keeneland Association, furnished the winners of both the two-year-old contests in Drift Along and Sand Bag. The latter, a brown daughter of Apprehend and Sandy Land, was made a favorite in the fourth race, titled the Shandon Purse, and benefiting from a step at the start, led all the way by a good margin. WINS EASILY. In running the Headley course in :48, Sand Bag won by four lengths over Miss Mars, representing C. R. Allen, as M. J. Schmitts Fern Sta,r was another two lengths away. Drift Along, owned by Hal Price Headley, proved best of the nine maiden juveniles meeting under claiming conditions in the opener, over the Headley course. Slow to settle into her stride, the chestnut daughter of Suprcmus and Sea Drift showed excellent speed through the final three furlongs to gain the victory by two and a half lengths over the Tall Trees Stables Frozen Mask, with Sunbcrra, from the French Lick Springs Stable, another head away. Frozen Mask got the best of a fair start and led until inside the sixteenth post, where Chall brought up Drift Along with a rush. Sunberra, the favorite, displayed an even effort. The Headley filly ruled the second choice. WISE DORA BEST. Wise Dora accounted for the second race when she wore down Scout Brigade in the stretch and then staved off a late rush by Smooth, beating the latter by three-fourths of a length. Scout Brigade was another three lengths back and a length before Dulcimer. Entree was installed an odds-on favorite, but after being unable to get off with the others, was caught in close quarters, dropping back to last place. He was unable to show much speed thereafter. Prenny, slight favorite among the dozen lowly three-year-olds that ran six furlonga in the third, gained a head victory over Ann Jones, with Minster three-quarters of a length away and two lengths before Lac-ha-Carolyn. The gelded son of Wise Counsellor Rejoice was ridden by Charles Landolt. Opening up a good lead right after the start, Prenny was not threatened, but he tired in the final furlong, where Ann Jones gained fast.
