GRIMALDI rushed to the front, set a good pace under light restraint and gave way in the final eishth, tiring near the end. WEGOWAY worked his way forward on the outside and finished strongly. JOLYON, unable to improve its early position, responded fast after reaching the stretch, wore down TRANSEN in the final eighth and won in hand. EVA R., far back for nine-sixteenths, moved up fast in the drive and finished strongly. TRANSEN was hustled along from the start, drew clear after disposing of CHEKA, was permitted to bear over on FLIGHT OF GOLD in the final eighth and tired fast near the end. MOLLY GREENOCK, well up from the start, was shuffled back approaching the stretch, but came again in the last stages. FLIGHT OF GOLD worked its way forward on the inside and tired after being blocked in the final eighth. CHEKA and WESTERN RUN quit. THIRD RACE 0 1-2 FURLONGS Waggoner Course, Out of Chute. AMAZEMENT, away slowly and outrun for five-sixteenths, improved her position rapidly thereafter, responded to strong urging in the stretch and wore MODESTO down in the last stages. MODESTO was hustled into a clear lead under light urging, but tired near the end. EMERY, well up from the start and in close quarters, improved its position when clear and finished strongly. TEETER TOTTER, away slowly, raced wide throughout and held on well. JOHN DOE, shuffled back early, showed nothing thereafter. MANNIE was knocked back when on the inside at the far turn. MISS MONTE, going in her best form and wclL up from the-start, raced into the lead when steered to the inside in the drive, responded to strong urging, withstood DOUBLE BRUSH, but had nothing left. The latter, a factor from the start, wore down LADY B. entering the stretch, but failed to withstand the winner. MR. GRIFF, away fast but shuffled back soon afterward, worked his way forward steadily and finished strongly. LADY B. tired. EARLE P. was hustled along from the start, was steered to the outside of the leaders in the final eighth and tired near the end. MERE FROLIC tired. JENNY WITCH raced greenly. The latter, outrun for a half mile, was sent to the extreme outside for the drive, moved up fast in the final eighth and was locked with MISS PREMIER at the end.
