VAN METERS 1937 STRING LEXINGTON, Ky., April 26. Charles C. Van Meter, local turfman, is training eight horses, of which one is owned by Mrs. Roy Carruthers, while the others race under Van Meters colors. The Carruthers representative in the stable is the three-year-old School-mom. Van Meters performers include the three-year-olds Zingali, Javamocha and Miss Sycamore, and the two-year-olds Swift Dawn, Park City, Big Time and Wall.
