MARCHBANK HORSES TO BE SOLD AT TANFORAN TUESDAY SAN BRUNO, Calif., April 29. Ten California-bred two-year-olds the property of John W. Marchbank, owner of the Tanforan track, will be sold at public auction in the : paddock of that course at 11 a. m. Tuesday. W. S. Cahalan will conduct the vendue, which - will find the following youngsters put up i for sale: Sweet Jasmine, Doublefol, Ardrigh, Arga, Nanak, Ackfol, Dunfrese, Francoise, ; Kovno and Xentor. Five of the juvenile racers are by the ; young sire Xenofol, four by imported War i Cry and one by King Heather. All have been i nominated for important California-bred j stakes. Sweet Jasmine, Doublefol, Nanak, . Ackfol, Francoise, Kovno and Xentor being : fillies, have been named for the Lassie ! Stakes, and Ardrigh, Arga and Dunfrese 1 have been entered in the California Home-Bred Stakes, while all have been nominated for both the Tanforan Futurity and the Bay Meadows Futurity.
