TANFORAN OPENS TODAY SAN BRUNO, Calif., April 29. Tanforan re-enters the California turf picture tomorrow afternoon with a well-balanced card of eight races. The ,500 added Inaugural Handicap, with a field of ten, will headline the opening bill, while the Heather Farm Handicap, named for the Marchbahk breeding ranch, will be the secondary feature. The Inaugural is at six furlongs and the Heather Farm at one and one-sixteenth miles. A substitute race was filled to be used only in the event of mud.
