DOWNS "DAILY DOUBLE" LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 29. The "Daily Double," a popular betting feature at Churchill Downs, will be based on the sec- ond and third races, as has been the custom in past years. The "Daily Double" is played eagerly at the local course and since this feature was introduced many large pay-offs have been recorded. The largest "Daily Double" return here last spring was 08, made possible through the winning efforts on May 18 of Thistle Ress and Manrico. Windows for the sale of "Daily Double" tickets are open here before the first race and sold until the field for the second is dispatched.
