BILL D. was rushed into a long lead, saved ground all the way, but quit badly in the final eighths - ROYAL FLIGHT, in close quarters through the early racing, finished with good courage. FRISCO KID improved his position and finished with courage. NIGHT SPRITE away well, could not hold his position and, when he dropped back, was shuffled out of contention. CHEROLIZE, showing a high flight of speed, was rushed into a long -lead and only tired . in the final sixty yards. BUFF RYAN saved ground all the way and outgamed MIKES GRACE in the final drive. The latter was forced to race on the outside and closed some ground, but hung" badly under punishment in the stretch. EASTER THORN closed some ground. WICKET raced greenly and dropped out of the running, but was closing at the end and will probably improve with education. GREENE, breaking slowly, worked his way up on the outside and closed with determination to catch ROSARIAN in the final stride. ROSARIAN, never far from the pace, moved up at the three-eighths post-, but was forced to go on the outside and hung badly under punishment. FLYANETTA had no excuse and was quitting at the end. MOSS GAL, after showing a flash of speed and saving ground on the inside, tired badlv iri the stretch. GRAND JESTER had. no excuse. OTWAY stumbled. GENTLE .SAVAGE, cased back from the pace going to the stretch turn, closed willingly under a clever ride in the stretch and was going away at the end. BELLRINGER raced.-,forwardry all the way -and readily. v took the place when CATTISTOCK tired badly. The latter had no excuses. He was raced into a good lead three-eighths from the finish as GENTLE SAVAGES rider cased him slightly, but tirod badly in the stretch drive. COUNT DOR finished strongly. CLAP IN closed some ground. DRUDGERY, shewing high speed, looked a sure winner an eighth from the finish after having carried all the pace, but tired right at the end. NOEL H., after having followed all of the pace, was best of the others, though quitting all through the final eighth. BISCAYNE BLUE met with some interference in the running, but was coming again at the end and "probably needed the race. CAMISADO can do better. FAIR STEIN broke slowly and did not run her race. !. TIME ME tired after having cut out the running to the top of the stretch. DARK PRINCE quit badly and had no excuse. MORE PEP and PORTUNUS collided leaving the stalls and his rider was unseated, while PORTUNUS, was knocked out of-it and simply galloped after his" field. ..-.,-.
