CHARLTON VICE-PRESIDENT PAWTUCKET, R. I., Nov. 17. Norman Charlton, Daily Racing Form correspondent, was elected vice-president of the New England Turf Writers Association at a dinner held in the Hotel Lenox, Boston, last night. New members elected to membership included Bill Smith of the Boston American; Marshall Smith, Providence Journal; Walter Hapgood, Boston Transcript; Henry Mc-Kenna, Boston Herald; and Sidney Robinson. Guests of the dinner included judge James E. Dooley, president of Narragansett Racing Association, Charles F. Adams, president of The Eastern Racing Association, and Lou Smith, president of Rockingham Park.
