TURNER IN TRAINING NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 15. Jockey Leonard Turner has announced his intention to essay a comeback in the saddle and has returned to the employ of Norman "Butsey" Hernandez, for whom he rode with much success a few seasons ago in the Crescent City. Turner, who was formerly attached to the Bomar Stable, found it difficult getting down to a low riding weight and temporarily quit the saddle. Since his arrival in New Orleans he has been getting into condition and hopes to make his return to the , saddle by the latter part of this week. While in the employ of Hernandez, Turner scored a number of important victories on horses owned by the New Orleans sportsman and his return to his old position is most welcome.
