GULFSTREAM PARK NEW NAME FOR LATEST FLORIDA TRACK MIAMI, Fla., Dec. 15. Miamis newest home for the thoroughbreds, overlooking the blue Atlantic north of the city, has been christened Gulfstream Park. Gulfstream Park, changed from Hollywood Park, so as not to conflict with the California track, derives its name from its unique setting. With the opening of the inaugural meeting on January 18, spectators in the spacious grandstand, planned to accommodate 7,000, will look out across the landscaped mile oval to the ocean. Coincident with the renaming of the track now being rushed to completion, came word from John C. Horning, president of the Hollywood Jockey Club, operators of the course, that work is progressing so rapidly that it is expected all will be ready in advance of the January opening. Gulfstream Park is to run for forty days, bringing its meeting to a close on March 4.
