HAVANA COLONY GAINS DAILY Nearly One Hundred Horses Now at Oriental Park. Officials Predict Three Hundred and Fifty Will Be Present for Meeting Opening January 12. HAVANA, Cuba, Dec. 15. Ttiere were six horse arrivals from the United States over the last week-end, making ninety-six during the week. They came by boat from Miami, where they were picked up on trains carrying them from Baltimore, New Orleans and Shreveport. Three more carloads are due next week. Both Albert Levey and Jim Milton, president and general manager, respectively, of the Havana American Racing Association, under whose auspices the fifty-two-day race meeting will be conducted at Oriental Park beginning January .12, expect 350 thoroughbreds will be bedded before the holidays. In all, they expect 700 to be stabled in the Marianao plant. The horses that came in yesterday were Galabang, owned by W. D. Riddy; Ladys Pal, owned by W. F. Pollard; Lum Joy and Contribute, owned by H. D. Byrne, and Sky Orme and Sym Jack, owned by Longfield and Lott. The ninety others and the names of the owners on the grounds follow: H. Torriente Kai Mask, Bugle Bell, Fran-cine C, Playki, Golden Pigeon, Young Playtime, Just High, Western Run, Forced Landing and R. L. Baker.
