PASS "CHRISTIAN HANDICAP Juvenile Eace Feature of Saturdays Fair Grounds Card Shaping Up as Close Contest. NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 15. The Pass Christian Handicap, a run of a mile and seventy yards for two-year-olds, which is to feature Saturdays program at the Fair Grounds, begins to shape up as one of the best races of the meeting thus far. Among those already named for the ,500 event are the best juveniles yet to show in New Orleans this winter and it is not unlikely that ten or more will accept the issue. Those youngsters which seem to have displayed the best form here thus far are Joe W. Browns Michigan Flyer; Mrs. C. C. Winters Patrol Scout; "Butsey" -Hernandez Bright; the Fairflax Stables Domanio and J. S. Archers My Shadow, and all of them are among the entries for Saturdays feature. Michigan Flyer won two races before meeting defeat at the hands of Patrol Scout in the Biloxi Handicap, while Bright has scored here three times, in the Caledonia Purse earning a dead heat with Patrol Scout-Three others in the nominations which already earned purses here this winter are My Shadow; Mrs. Charles Graysons Linger Awhile and E. K. Murrays Cyrus P., while also entered is Domanio, which has not yet won, but which turned in a splendid effort before bowing to Bright by a narrow margin over a mile and seventy yards on Wednesday. GOOD COMPETITION. Still others which may be found in the Pass Christian field this week-end are the Millsdale Stables Ellie, Jake Lowensteins Mighty Miss, T. J. Hills Set Pat, Miss Sherry Balleras Sherry B., Miss Ruth Sidells Hope Diamond and Harold Nellors Linter and Jubilee C. All these also have shown splendid form at one time or another. The co-feature on Saturday will be the. six furlongs" Garnet Handicap, for older horses and in it F. C. Murrays Clocks and Joe Browns Spillway are to make their first appearances of the season. Clocks has been keeping fashionable company all year in the East while Spillway will be remembered by ocal fans as one of the better juveniles of last year. They are listed among nominations along with T. J. Hills White Cockade, Mrs. A. M. Creechs Gato, Shining Heels and Grey Streak, C. E. Davisons Chance Ray, the Fairflax Stables Real Play and Fairflax, N. L. Naylors Virginia J., and James Emerys Taken.
